Andrew Marr’s History of Modern Britain takes a look at post war Britain. Marrs’ skill is to present not just the facts in a coherent and entertaining way, but to tie them all together into a narrative that reveals the ‘big picture’, the underlying issues and tensions. Very watchable, shame the BBC take the episodes down quickly after their air date.
